Barba e Capelli was looking for a specialist in custom software for a hairdressing app. Owner Antonio, a long-time hairdresser himself, noticed that managing appointments, payments, and availability was taking up more and more time. This was especially true because he works with independent hairdressers who rent a chair from his salon.

He saw how difficult it was to maintain structure when customers booked through multiple channels, which regularly led to misunderstandings and no-shows. Antonio sought a user-friendly solution that would not only automate the scheduling process but also enhance the customer experience.

Barba e Capelli is a co-working space for independent hairdressers, where appointments came from all over the place: by phone, text message, and social media. This caused confusion and wasted time. A mobile app for hairdressers could bring order to this by managing all bookings in one central location.

Other challenges

Antonio and his fellow entrepreneurs regularly faced no-shows – customers who didn’t show up. This resulted in valuable time and revenue being lost. They wanted to address this problem with a customized hairdressing app by sending customers automatic reminders and enabling prepayments.
